Obituary of James Willis Lawson

James Willis Lawson, 73, died Sunday, May 8, 2016.
Born November 25, 1942, in Perry County, he was the son of the late Willis and Eulice Robinson Lawson Gorman. He was a retired social worker and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. James was a graduate of Morehead and was an avid pool player.
Survivors include: two sisters, Clara Gossett, Batavia, OH, and Mary Ann Smith, Hazard, KY; a special friend, Pat Osborn, Harrodsburg; two nieces.
A Celebration of Life service will be held later in Hazard.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
