Obituary of Charles Ralph Haven

Charles Ralph Haven, 87, Harrodsburg, husband of Joan Taylor Haven, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington.
Born October 21, 1928, in Covington, he was the son of the late John James and Laura Service Haven.
He was a retired quality control engineer for Corning Glass, having received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Kentucky. Charles was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, was a member of the VFW and American Legion, and enjoyed golfing.
Other survivors include: three sons, Mark (Susan) Haven of Harrodsburg, Todd Haven of Jamestown, NC, and Stuart Haven of Morristown, TN; one brother, Jerry (Carol) Haven of Petersburg, KY; six grandchildren and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2pm, Thursday, May 12, at Spring Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
