GRACE DOHONEY HORN


Grace Dohoney Horn, age 85, Parklawn Drive, Lexington, formerly of Harrodsburg, widow of William Rufus Horn, Sr. died Tuesday, May 04, 2004 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.


Born February 26, 1919 in Perryville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Octavia Mock Dohoney. She was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington where she was active in Sunday School.


Survivors include: one son, W.R. “Bill” and his wife Jean Horn, Jr., Lexington, three grandchildren, Troy Horn, Jennifer Horn, and Robin Hord, all of Lexington and four great-granddaughters also of Lexington.


Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, May 7th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Craig Loscalzo, Rev. Glen Cummins, and Dr. Walter Price. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery.


Pallbearers are: Todd Hord, Troy Horn, Dana Biggs, Junior Broyle, Jason Bruner, and David Traynor.


Visitation will be from 5 until 9 pm Thursday and after 7:30 am Friday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass - 2312 Alexandria Dr, Lexington, KY 40504 or to Journey of Faith - C/O Immanuel Baptist Church - 3100 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502.
