Lindsay Barton "Bart" Johns, 55, Nicholasville, KY, husband of Gina Johns, died Monday at the University of Kentucky Heath Care Markey Cancer Center, Lexington, KY. Born June 29, 1960, in Lexington, to the late Fred Welch and Ruth Shannon (Reynolds) Johns. Bart was a Cabinet Maker for Americas Finest Woodworking in Lexington and a member of the Sulphur Well Christian Church.
He is survived by: his wife: Gina (Watts) Johns, two daughters: Lindsay Johns (William) Redington of Nicholasville and Whitney Leigh Johns both of Nicholasville, two sisters: Eva Marsee of Nicholasville, and Fredda Jacobs of Burgin, granddaughter, Madelynn Rahna Redington of Nicholasville, Bart was preceded in death by his brother, Shannon Johns and two sisters, Karen Kelley and Katherine "Kitty" Thompson.
Visitation will be 11am-2 pm Thursday; May 26, at The Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Will Daughtery, Adam Watts, Matthew Lee, Malcolm Miracle, Erinn Thompson and Brent Jennings. Honorary Bearers are: Frankie Reynolds, Shorty Willis, Jimmy Estes, Danny Smith, Tim Hearley, David Peel, Allen "Doodle" Peel, Mike Forbes and Tony Sparks.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Tyson Cummings and Dr. John Sanders. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
