DOLEN W. YOUNT Dolen W. Yount, age 75, Buster Pike, Harrodsburg, husband of Janice Osborne Yount, died Thursday, May 06, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born January 19, 1929 in Warren County, KY, he was the son of the late John and Roxie Dinkins Yount. He was a quality control manager for a furniture manufacturing company and a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church. Survivors besides his wife include: two sons, Roger Yount, Louisville and Larry Yount, New Albany, IN; one step-son, Eddie Davenport, Nicholasville; three step-daughters, Kathy Webber, Lexington, Dottie Jackson, Harrodsburg, and Anita Carey, Burgin; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter Patsy Yount. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, May 8th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Owens, Dr. David Ross, and Rev. Elwood Norton. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Yount, Jerry Royalty, Ralph Clark, Ed Cunningham, Mike Brown, Henry Anness, Cecil Webb, and Paul Shirley. Honorary bearers are members of the United Methodist Church men and the Frank Trisler Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 9 pm and after 7:30 am Saturday until the hour of service at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church Building Fund, 102 South Chiles Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
