Obituary of Lillian Opal French

Lillian Opal French, 86, Harrodsburg, widow of George Jordan French, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at her home.
Born June 30, 1929, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Paigie and Lomie (Claunch) Lewis. She was a retired seamstress for Cricketeer and was a member of Benton Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Donald Edward French of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Linda Watts and Barbara Hodge; four brothers, Charles Lewis, Tony Lewis, Paigie Lewis and Kenny Whiteside; two grandchildren, Lillian Georgianna French and Donald Edward French Jr., and his wife Mary French, and Kecia French Sparks, all of Harrodsburg; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services 11AM Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Sherry Green. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers are Levi & Dylan French, Dalton, Devon & Paige French, and Bill Barnett. Honorary bearers are Todd Collier and Tony Brown.
