CHARLES TED VENTERS


Charles Ted Venters, age 70, Cannonball Drive, Nicholasville, husband of Jo Ann Rowland Venters, died Friday, May 7, 2004 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.


Born November 23, 1933 in Millard, KY, he was the son of the late Charles and Lacy Justice Venters. He was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Lexington, KY, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church in Harrodsburg.


Survivors besides his wife include: one son, Chuck Venters, Lancaster; two daughters, Suzie Hatfield, Burgin and Debbie Morris, Lexington; one brother Jim Venters, Titusville, Florida; several step-children, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one niece, Jennifer Stone and nephew, Clint Venters.


Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 11th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Lewis Walter. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery with full military rites.


Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
