Brenda L. Shuman, 67, Harrodsburg, widow of Irvin Shuman, died Monday, August 8, 2016.
Born July 9, 1949, in Nelson Co., she was the daughter of the late Oakley and Virginia (Whitehouse) Lewis. Brenda was a homemaker and was a member of the Walnut St. Baptist Church.
Survivors include: six daughters, Glenna (Chris) Worthington of Harrodsburg, Lisa (Michael) Bruner of Waddy, Della Slone of Harrodsburg, Linda Dean of Somerset, and Juanita Shuman of Brownsville, and Lynette Shuman, Louisville; one son, Jeff Scrogham of Louisville; one sister, Deborah Rose of Spencer Co.; twenty-one grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery by Bro. Danny Broce. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
