Gertrude Chilton, Harrodsburg, wife Linwood Chilton, died Friday, August 12, 2016, at the McDowell Place, Danville. She was the daughter of the late Rome and Della Lee Drury Robinson. Gertrude and Linwood just celebrated their 74th anniversary. She was a member of the Mayo Christian Church, and a retired employee for Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Human Resources and was a Kentucky Colonel. Other survivors include one daughter: Sue Wood Pugh of Harrodsburg, one grandchild, Leewood Pugh (Nick) Goodlett of Harrodsburg, sister-in-law, Loraine Robinson, two nieces, Janice Burns, and Joyce Riley; two nephews, Dallas Waterfill and Darrell Waterfill; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Son-In-Law, Bobby Pugh, and two siblings, Aileen Waterfill and William H. Robinson. Funeral services 1:30 pm Tuesday (Aug. 16th) at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Lowell Langefeld officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers: Darrell Waterfill, Dallas Waterfill, Jennings Burns, Cecil Riley, Nick Goodlett, and Tommy Goodlett. Honorary bearers: great grandchildren, Dean Goodlett, Linlee Goodlett and Lexey Goodlett. Memorials are suggested to: Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422.
