Christopher Wayne Byrd, 45, Harrodsburg, son of Donnie and Beverly (Byrd) Robins, died Sunday. Chris was born July 10,1971, in Harrodsburg, KY. He was a pipefitter with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 452 and was a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to his parents, Donnie and Beverly (Byrd) Robins, survivors include: a son, Nicholas Ty Byrd; a daughter, Teygan Dayle Byrd; step son, Shane Webb, all of Harrodsburg; step daughter, Ashley Koettel of Fl; one sister, Whitney Shea Robins; niece, Aniston Sloan Carey; special friend, Wendy Goodlett; several aunts, uncles & cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George Byrd & Nancy Sallee Taylor and paternal grandparents, Charlie & Ruth Robins.
Visitation will be 11-2 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, conducted by Randall Bartleson and Scott Bugg. Burial will follow in the Burgin Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be: Scott Darland, Mark Darnell, Mark Steele, Lamont Linton, Larry Wilham, R.J. Bartleson, Craig Ford and Brandin Carey.
