Obituary of Zolema H. Fain

ZOLEMA H. FAIN Zolema H. Fain, age 82, Elmwood Drive, Harrodsburg, died Monday, May 17, 2004 at her residence. Born April 7, 1922 in Harlan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Martha Jane Long Howard. She was a graduate of Loyall High School and the Bissell Business College in Harlan, KY. She was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Mercer County where she was active in the Adult Women’s Sunday School Class. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Trula) Arnett, Mercer County; two grandchildren, Ernest Tyrone Arnett and Donna Sue McGrath; one great-grandchild, Amber McGrath, and a number of cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother Louie H. Howard. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Wednesday, April 19th at the Mount Pleasant Mortuary, 122 North Cumberland Avenue, Harlan, KY with burial in the Resthaven Cemetery in Harlan. Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg with Eastern Star Services at 7:00 pm and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the Mount Pleasant Mortuary.
