Obituary of Jane Mitchell Rice

Jane Mitchell Rice, 64, widow of Andy Rice, died Mon., Nov. 21, 2016. Born Aug. 28, 1952, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Leslie and Letitia Mitchell Rue. Jane was a 1970 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, had been a graphic artist for Minuteman Press and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Billy Hargis, Lexington, and Todd (Jill) Hargis, Georgetown; one sister, Tish Rue (Bruce) Rudd, Cadiz; three grandchildren, Jackson, Ella Rue, and Caid Hargis. Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Billy Brown. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 11 AM until the hour of service on Monday. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Dr, Danville, KY 40422, or to a charity of one's choice.
