Obituary of Virginia Royalty

VIRGINIA ROYALTY Virginia Royalty, age 92, Rose Street, Lexington formerly of Mercer County, widow of Clyde Royalty, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born November 3, 1911 in Pike County, she was the daughter of the Late George and Mary Hopkins Prater. She was a homemaker and attended the Bluegrass Baptist Church in Lexington. Survivors include a step-granddaughter, Johnetta and her husband Rick Grant, of Lexington. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday at the Kirkwood Baptist Church Cemetery by Bro. Jerel Coffey. Burial will be in the Kirkwood Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Ransdell Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
