Peggy Sue Barnes, 81, Harrodsburg, wife of David Barnes, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at home.
Born October 24, 1935, in Irvine, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Jane (Hounschell) Doutaz. Peggy had formerly worked for State National Bank of El Paso, TX, and for St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. She was a graduate of Lafayette High, attended the Univ. of KY, and was a member of the Hill-N-Dale Christian Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Toyah (Greg) Robey of Harrodsburg; two granddaughters, Austin Colleen Robey & Haley Jane Robey.
Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at Bluegrass Memorials Gardens, Nicholasville, by Darrell Hahn. Visitation will be 12-1 PM Friday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
