Obituary of Teresa Norma Hendren

Teresa Norma McCrystal Hendren, 77, widow of Willis T. Hendren, died Monday, April 3, 2017, at the Palmetto Health Heart Hospital, in Columbia, SC. Born October 11, 1939 in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. McCrystal and Doris Long McCrystal. She was a retired Department of Corrections employee, having worked at FCI, in Lexington, KY, and she was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Willis T. Hendren, her parents and a sister, Sandra Bugg (Dannie) of Kennesaw, GA. She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa (Marvin) Rowland of Mt. Juliet, TN, two sons, Willis Lee (Cindy) Hendren, of Lexington, KY , Richard T. Hendren, of Irmo, SC; Grandchildren - Miranda (Michael) Tweedy, Hendersonville, TN; Joseph (Megan) Rowland, Lebanon, TN, Lindsey Hendren, Columbia, SC, Anthony (Haley) Hendren, Nashville, TN, Corey (Caroline) Hendren, Walterboro, SC, Kyle Hendren (Lexington, KY) and Abigail Hendren (Lexington, KY), and Ashley Farr ( Lexington, SC). She is also survived by two great-grandsons, Jude Rowland and Beckett Rowland (Lebanon, TN). She is also survived by three sisters in law, Annetta Carey (Perryville, KY), Betty Jean Hendren (Lexington, KY) and Mary Jane Weddle (Harrison, OH), three nieces, Candace Coulter (Perryville, KY), Danette Mack (Marietta, GA), and Denise Rickman (Powder Springs, GA) and two nephews, Jerome Weddle and Jeff Weddle. Graveside services 12 Noon, Saturday, April 8, 2017, Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion, by Joseph Rowland. Visitation 6PM Friday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
