Fannie Irene Broce Fannie Irene Broce, age 74, Old Louisville Rd, Salvisa, widow of Curtis Broce died Friday, June 4, 2004 at the home of her son in Salvisa. Born April 14, 1930 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary (Holman) Currens. She was a Mercer Co. Schools’ food service worker for over 30 years and a member of Claylick Methodist Church. Survivors include: one son, Danny and his wife Sharon Broce of Salvisa; one brother Curtis and his wife Sonia Currens, Mercer Co.; two sisters, Dorothy Freeman, Salvisa and Elsie Gritton, Lawrenceburg; one sister-in-law, Leona “Boots” Bradley, Harrodsburg; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by a brother, Otha Currens. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, June 6th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg by Bro. Glen Gilliam and Gary Story. Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Ronnie Broce, Leonard Currens, Barry Currens, O.C. Currens, Ricky Robinson, and Mike Freeman. Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Saturday, and after 7:30 am Sunday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Gideon´s International, Post Office Box 176, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
