Obituary of Lewis E. Lawson
Lewis E. Lawson, 76, Salvisa, husband of Ethel Murphy Lawson, died Saturday at his home. Born March 5, 1941, in Liberty, KY, to the late Hershel and Opal (Overstreet) Lawson. Lewis was a farmer, a member of the Methodist church. He loved to play Rook and to go fishing.
Lewis is survived by: his wife: Ethel (Murphy) Lawson and one son: Lewis "Eddie" (Linda) Lawson, Jr. of Salvisa, one sister: Ruth (Steve) Hollon of Winchester, and two brothers: Bobby Lawson of Harrodsburg, and Carlos Lawson of Simpsonville, two grandchildren, Ed, & Christopher Lawson; and three great grandchildren, Logan, Lincoln & Lucas Lawson. Lewis was preceded in death by his sister; Beulah Armstrong and brother, Wesley Lawson.
Visitation will start at 11:00 AM leading to a Memorial service at 1:00 pm Friday; July 7 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by George Hunter. .
