NELLIE HARLOW
Nellie Harlow, 91, of Dixie Manor, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born May 17, 1911 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Moland and Annie Sims Derr and was the widow of Evan Harlow.
She was a former seamstress for Sportleigh Hall and had worked for the Harrodsburg schools cafeteria.
She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School class.
Survivors include: one son, Joe Harlow; two daughters, Phyllis Brown and Evelyn Morris, all of Harrodsburg; one sister, Juanita Burns, Mercer County; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Robert DeFoor officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Derr, Jerry Burns, Randy Burns, Bobby Thompson, Adrian Thompson and Rodney Thompson. Honorary bearers will be members of the Joy Sunday School Class.
Memorials are suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church Maintenance Fund.
