Obituary of Brenda Joyce Coleman

Brenda Joyce Coleman, 72, widow of Marvin Devon Coleman, died Sunday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. Born March 7, 1945, in Casey County, her parents were the late Curtis and Irene (Wilson) Lawson. Joyce worked several jobs throughout her life, but usually landed cooking jobs at area restaurants and was famous for her pies. She was also caregiver other family members for many years. Joyce was a member of the Junction City Wesleyan Church and the 55 & Alive group. She loved her dog and to going to flea markets.
 Joyce is survived by: three sons: Robert Glenn McAninch (Rebecca Tincher) of Harrodsburg, Curtis Elvin McAninch of Berea, and Michael Carroll (Chrissy) McAninch of Danville, one sister: Carla Rae Lawson of Cleveland, TX, fourteen grand children, twenty-one great  grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Johnny Darrel McAninch
 Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday; October 11 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel,  Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Robert McAninch, Curtis McAninch, Michael McAninch, Matthew Roby, Jeremy McAninch and Chris Rinhart. Michael Allen McAninch and Charles Rinhart are to serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
 Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bobby Tolson. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
