Obituary of Floralice Montgomery

Floralice M. Montgomery, 80, Harrodsburg, wife of William "Billy" Montgomery, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington.

 

Born July 9, 1937, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Michael "Mike" and Katie L. (Isham) McCrystal. She was a retired Inspector for Corning Inc., and was a member of The Carpenter's Christian Church, where she was a Greeter, a member of the Willing Hands SS Class, and involved with the Dolls of Hope.

 

Other survivors include: one son, Alan (Anita) Pinkston of Harrodsburg; a stepson, Eric (Lisa) Montgomery of Lexington; one brother, Harold "Buddy" McCrystal of Somerset; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; special extended family, Stephanie Abrams of Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Pinkston.

 

Funeral services will be 2PM Tues., Jan. 16, 2018, at the Carpenter's Christian Church by Greg Warren, John Kesel, and Larry D. Camic. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Monday at The Carpenter's Christian Church. Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
