Obituary of Patricia E. Cooper
Patricia Eileen Cooper, 88, Harrodsburg, widow of James Wm. Cooper, died Sunday, January 14, 2018, at her home.
Born June 21, 1929, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Shuman) Wurtenberger. Pat was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include: two grandchildren, James Austin (Teresa) Cooper of Lawrenceburg, and Jamie Renee (Phillip) Wilmoth of Lexington; three great grandchildren; one sister, Madeline (Jack) Ward of Nicholasville; one sister-in-Law, Joan Wurtenberger; several nieces & nephews. Pat was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ray Cooper, and three brothers, Joseph, Harold, and Howard Wurtenberger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, by Fr. Albert DeGiacomo. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 10AM - 11AM Wednesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers are: David and Jody Wurtenberger, Robert and Michael Brown, James Austin Cooper, and Carter Cooper.
