Obituary of Dorothy Lee McCrystal

Dorothy Lee McCrystal, 85, Harrodsburg, widow of Kenneth, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab.

 

Born January 30, 1933, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Lee Bell and Sarah (Rogers) Jones.  Dorothy was a graduate of McAfee High School, was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church, and loved to fish.

 

Survivors include: one son, Jeff (Myra) McCrystal of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, Bret Nicole McCrystal, Harrodsburg, and Houston (Aaron) Steele, Burgin; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Nettie (James) Stinnett, Rosie Johnson, and Shirley (Danny) Phillips, all of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Henry (Jean) Jones of CO and Thomas M. (Wanda) Jones of Harrodsburg. She was preceded in death by a son, John W. McCrystal.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held 11AM Monday, March 5, 2018, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 9AM. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

 

Pallbearers are Tim Stinnett, Steve McCrystal, Scott Huff, Aaron Ison, Thomas Jones and Jared Ison. 

 

Memorials are suggested to: St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1125 Danville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
