Obituary of Mary Jane Sparrow

Mary Jane Sparrow, 86, widow of William Forest Sparrow & Lyndell Hunt, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Baptist Health, Lexington.

 

Born July 10, 1931, in Letcher Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Mae Stamper Fields. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indian Hills Christian Church.

 

Survivors include: one daughter, Sarah (Greg) Maddox of Danville; one son, Stephen (Tiffany) Sparrow of Danville; one brother, Jimmy (Shelia) Fields of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Benjamine and Ellen Sparrow, Katharine and Erika Kehrt, John Ross Hopkins, Connor Hopkins and Sally Maddox. Mary Jane was preceded in death by six siblings.

 

Visitation will be 12PM-2PM Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.

 

Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Odis Clark. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

 

Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers.
