Obituary of Gerald Drury
Gerald Drury, 83, Harrodsburg, KY, died Thursday at the Signature Heritage Hall Care Center in Lawrenceburg. He was born August 14, 1934, in Washington County, to the late Ansel Estes and Julia Ann (Crouch) Drury. Gerald was a lifetime farmer, had worked for American Tobacco Co. for 30 plus years, and was a member of the Grapevine Christian Church and the Bluegrass Horse Pullers Association.
Gerald is survived by: two daughters: Kelly (Troy) McGinnis and Dana (Kelly) Parker, two sons: Carroll (Lou Ann) Drury and Patrick Drury one brother; David Drury, all of Harrodsburg, KY, nine grandchildren; Amber Drury, Cara Wilson, Hunter Drury, Rebecca Drury, Landon McGinnis, Laci McGinnis, Nicholas Bottom, Keegan Bottom and Nathan Parker, and a great grandson; Bennett Wilson
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday; March 25 and Monday prior to service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Amber Drury, Cara Wilson, Hunter Drury, Rebecca Drury, Landon McGinnis, Laci McGinnis, Nicholas Bottom, Keegan Bottom, Nathan Parker and Terry Steele. Bennett Wilson will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Leonard Price. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
