Obituary of Phyllis Roberta Yocum
Phyllis Roberta Yocum, 73, Harrodsburg, KY, died Thursday at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehabilitation Center, Harrodsburg, KY. Born February 25,1945, in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late Russell G. and late Hattie Louise (Curry) Cox. She retired as a clerk for KY State Parole Board.
Phyllis is survived by: one son: Larry "Chris" Yocum of Versailles, two sisters: Marion (Junior) Dean of Harrodsburg and Rebecca Sue Ramsey of Frankfort, and two brothers: Larry Ray (Nadine) Cox of Frankfort and James R. "Jim" (Janie) Cox of Rossville, GA, several nieces & nephews, Phyllis was preceded in death by a son; Russell Gentry Yocum, and a brother, Allen "Dale" Cox.
Phyllis chose cremation and there are no formal services scheduled at this time. Memorial donations in her honor are directed to: Mercer County Animal Shelter, 896 Moberly Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or your local animal shelter.
