Janet Hall posted a condolence

Oh my!!! I'm so very sorry!! I considered Mike and Jo dear friends of my family! We lived beside each other on Cane Run St. My husband(David) and Mike would try to beat each other getting the garbage cans back up after they were empty. When my husband passed then Mike was an honorary pall bearer, this was in January of 1999. A few years later I moved to another house and sold that one. I would still come and visit them from time to time and brought them an artificial flowering tree that lite up for Christmas. We invited them to a baby shower for my son and his wife, but Jo couldn't come...Mike did though. He thought a lot of my son(Chris) and we all thought a lot of him!! As years have gone by, we have lost touch and just recently I met a lady that was taking care of Mike but at that time he was in the hospital. I tried calling his room several times but no answer. She was supposed to let me know when he got out so I could come and visit him. I haven't heard anything but just thought the other day that I needed to go out there to see him. I didn't make it. Just found out he was gone from my nephew(Mark Steele). I'll always remember Mike and the kind person he was. I hope I'm notified of grave service. Prayers for family, Janet Hall

Mike was a very nice man... I met him through my uncle, David Hall, years ago. Then after meeting Mike he asked me to do some work for him, painting his house and garage, numerous other jobs as well. I always thought a lot of Mike. We would sit and talk for hours. He was a good man and will be deeply missed. Condolences to his family. So sorry for your loss. I’m sure he is in a better place now! Until we meet again Mike...... RIP
