Obituary of Carl B. Carey

Carl B. Carey, 86, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Dorothy Patterson Carey, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.

 

Born October 31, 1931, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Carl T. and Fannie (Claunch) Carey. He was a retired mechanic and service station owner, was a member of the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church, and was an avid car show enthusiast.

 

Other survivors include: one daughter, Melanie (Carlos) Carey Lane of Harrodsburg; two sons: Carl Brent Carey and Shane Carey, both of Harrodsburg; six grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Dalton Carey.

 

Funeral services will be 1PM Friday, April 13, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

 

Pallbearers:  Matt & Zachary Carey, David Hart, Kellis Poynter, Josh Baer, Jamie Newman, Ronnie Robinson and Neil Slone.
