Carole Ann Wendell, 74, widow of Jan Griffin Wendell, died Friday, April 20, 2018, in Danville, KY.

 

Born September 1, 1943, in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ellison Dornte and the late Catherine Savannah (Popp) Martin. She was a retired Title Clerk for the Indiana Department of Motor Vehicle and attended the Covenant Church of the Nazerene.

 

Survivors include: a daughter & caregiver, Kelly (Ronnie Hatton) Hinkle of Danville; son, Chris (Melissa) Cohee of Harrodsburg; a granddaughter, Laura Cohee of Harrodsburg; best friend, Bobbie Brown & Family of Indianapolis; special friend & caregiver, Vonda Yates of Danville two nieces & two nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Lawrence "Strut" Martin.

 

Funeral services 2 PM Wed., April 25, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Doug Wesley. Burial will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, Salvisa.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM  until  the hour of service on Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

 

Pallbearers:  Chris Cohee, Stephen Goodlett, Mark Darnell, Mark McDonald, Barry Carmicle and Chad Hinkle. 

 

Memorials are suggested to: Memorial: American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
