Obituary of Daniel Lee McDonald
Daniel Lee McDonald, 69, Salvisa, died Monday at the Ephraim McDowell James B Haggin Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born Jan. 14, 1949, in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of the late Daniel "Mac" and Myrtle (Lucas) McDonald. He was a retired Production Supervisor for Sylvania, and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include: fiancée, Marlene White, Salvisa; one daughter, Sheila Gay Sims of Salvisa; one son, Daniel Keith (Angie) McDonald of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Linda Fay (Donnie) Crisp of Salvisa, Joyce Ann (Walter) Hinson of Wilmington, NC, and Phyllis Marie (Eddie) Hodges of Wilmington, NC; three granchildren, Daniel Kaleb McDonald, Christian Blake Sims, and John Ross McDonald.
Funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John McDaniel and Stephen Brogli. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018, and Thursday after 7:30 AM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Fletcher, Kenny Long, Kaleb McDonald, Albert Lietengerger, Michael Goodlett, and Kelly Bugg. Honorary Bearers will be Billy Eldridge and Donald Crisp.
