Obituary of Henry T. Anness
Henry T. Anness, 94, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Frances Wiley Anness, died Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Ephraim McDowell - James B Haggin Hospital, Harrodsburg.
Born September 10, 1923, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Omer Woodson and Margaret Lee (Harlow) Anness. He was a retired machinist for Corning Glass. Henry was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM, VFW, and American Legion.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Brenda (Dan) Jeffries of Newburg, IN; one son, Tommy (Laura) Anness of Harrodsburg; three step children, Connie (Doug) Edwards of Lexington, Audrey (Harold) Lester of Harrodsburg, and Gloria Clark of Winchester; Thirteen Grandchildren; Seventeen Great Grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; special nephews, Keith & Kerry Anness, and Glenn Preston. He was preceded in death by two wives, Joyce Todd Anness and Maxine Parker Anness, a step daughter, Gail Brown, and a grandson, Jonathan Scott Anness, as well as four siblings, Verna Frances Boot, Mary Lee Preston, Buddy Anness, and Elsworth Anness.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday, July 27, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial with military rites will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers: Todd Nolloth, Brett Anness, Chris Jeffries, Christian & Chandler Goad, Kalin, Aidan, & Richard Brown. Honorary bearers: Glenn Preston, Keith & Kerry Anness, Todd, Christian & Brady Doan, Kyle Brafford, Donald & Harry Wiley, Nellus Estes, Eddie Sherrow, Donald Logue, I. C. Phillips, Charles Lewis, J. Hugh Phillips, and Richard Smith.
