Obituary of Laura B. Tatum

Laura B. Tatum, 86, widow of Elmer C., died Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born December 15, 1931, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Andrew Garnett and Eula Hart (Chilton) Patterson. She was a retired Interpreter for Shakertown at Pleasant Hill, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include: two daughters, Rebecca Jean (Wilburn) Turner of Harrodsburg, and Emily Carol Canon of Burgin; two sons, Russell Garnett (Paula) Tatum of Danville, and Andrew (Winifred) Tatum of Lawrenceburg;  one sister, Helen Tracey of NE;  several nieces & nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM  until  the hour of service on Friday at Ransdell's.

 

Pallbearers are: Johsua Lee & Hallie Canon, Eric & Wilburn Turner, Madison & Andy Tatum, Nona Johnson, and Emily Davenport. Honorary bearers are Richard Eric Lyons and Ashley Godbey.
