Obituary of Nancy Joan Lawson

          Nancy Joan Lawson, 90, Danville, KY, died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg. Born September 9, 1927, in Midland, IN, she was the daughter of the late Elzie and Frona Gibson.

Joan was a 1945 graduate of Midland High School in Midland, Indiana. Joan was a Seamstress for Cricketeer Manufacturing for over 10 years and served as a Senior Companion for the Mercer Co. Senior Citizens for over 10 years.

          Nancy is survived by: one daughter: Charlotte Russell of Danville, KY, grandchild: Chad (Cynthia) Russell of Danville, KY and Special Friend & Caregiver: Frankie Thompson. Nancy was preceded in death by three sisters: Dorothy Hash, Mary Kendall and Sally Hix and one brother: Gene Gibson.

          Visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 11-1pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel,  Harrodsburg.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Juanita Lawson, Melody Barker, Carol Walters and the Staff At Signature Health Care Center.

          Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Josh Snyder. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
