Obituary of Glenn Miller Reynolds
Glenn M. Reynolds, 83, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Virginia Devine Reynolds, died Thursday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born March 20, 1935, in Perryville, KY, he was the son of the late Elliott Miller Reynolds and the late Ethel (Drury) Reynolds May.
Glenn was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a self employed brick mason for Reynolds Company. He was also a Kentucky Colonel, very active in Gideon's International and Men for Christ, and a member of the Bohon Church of Christ. Glenn and Virginia were foster parents for several children over the last several years.
He is survived by: four daughters: Julie (Chris) Rawlings of Harrodsburg, KY, Anne (Tim) Antle of Lexington, KY, Christina (Thomas) Hayden of Lexington, KY and Ashley Reynolds of Danville, KY, two sisters: Hallie Pfeffer of Louisville, KY and Diane Sanders of Harrodsburg, KY and three granddaughters, Allison Rawlings, Emily Rawlings and Audrey Moore. Glenn was preceded in death by a Sister, Betty Mann and his brother, Brantley Reynolds.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Saturday; September 22 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Burns, Tim Darland, Josh Allen, Jackie Claycomb, Dalton Hendren and Don Stiglish. Gideon members are to be Honorary Bearers.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Julius Hovan and Tim Darland. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
