Obituary of Connie Shifflett

Connie Shifflett, 68, Salvisa, KY, died Tuesday at Baptist Health in Lexington. Born October 26,1949, in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Alvin Lee and the late Lois (Smith) Shifflett.

He was the owner and operator for Shifflett Electric and HVAC, and a member of the Clay Lick Methodist Church.

          Connie is survived by: his fiancée, Linda Sexton; three daughters: Jill Lynnette Shifflett (Mike Burus) of Harrodsburg, Carolee Susan Shifflett (Timmy Taylor) of Salvisa and Holly Nicole (Josh) Mitchell of Lawrenceburg, and one son: Justin McCoy (Ellen) Shifflett of Salvisa, of Salvisa, KY; eleven grandchildren: Cameron, Heather, Jessica, Josh, Dillon, Greg, Evan, Katelin, Drake, Skylar and Wyatt; four great  grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Tyler.

          Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday; September 28, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel,  Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers will be: Cameron Winburn, Joshua Bowman, Greg Hammons,Dillon Harper, Jason Tyler, Eddie Hanks, Chris Hanks and Johnnie Beasley. Honorary Bearers will be: Clifford Cunningham, Mike Cox, Gary Reynolds, Garnett Robinson, Timmy Taylor, Mike Burus, Josh Mitchell, Hagen Grubbs, Eric Simmpson, Ellen Shifflett, Bobby Wooldridge, Anthony VanKannel, Treyci Rice, Crystal Vaughn, Heather Sexton, Jim Shifflett, Jessica Grubs, Heather Simpson and Jeff Moberly.

          Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dallas Daniels and Victor Slatten. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery, Lawrenceburg.
