Obituary of Imogene A. Cornish

Imogene A. Cornish, 71, wife of William Cornish, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, October 7, 2018, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.  Born September 3, 1947, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Minnie Katherine (Goodlett) Alsman. She was a retired Shakertown Employee and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

 

Other survivors include: two daughters, Kathy (James) Raney and Angela Cornish both of Harrodsburg; two sons, Mike Cornish and Scottie Cornish, both of Harrodsburg;  one brother, Onise "Onie" Alsman of Perryville; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Alsman, and a half sister, Anna Rae Pinkston.

 

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wed., Oct. 10, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Lynn Releford.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be 11 AM until 2 PM Wednesday, Ransdell's.

 

Pallbearers are: Jessie & Brian Raney, Dustin Baker, Andrew Cornish, Jeff Coslow and John Baltimore. 

 

Memorials are suggested to a Charity of One's Choice.
