Obituary of Martha Buckner

Martha Buckner, 91, Harrodsburg, widow of William Buckner, died Friday, October 19, 2018. Born March 23, 1927, in McQuerry County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Allie Maddox Helton.

She was a retired RN for Haggin Hospital, a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and of the Homemaker's Garden Club.

          Martha is survived by: two daughters: Theresa (Bud) Westerfield and JoAnn Richmond, both of Harrodsburg. Grandchildren: Jessica (Stevie) Elliott, Colin Buckner, Casie Westerfield and Clay (Krystal) Westerfield; several Nieces and Nephews and 4 great grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her Son, Mark Buckner.

          Visitation will be Monday, October 22, 2018 from 11-2pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel,  Harrodsburg, KY.

Pallbearers will be: Colin Buckner, Stevie Elliott, Casie Westerfield, Tyler Sawyer. Honorary bearers: Josie and Gracie Elliott, Evan Westerfield and Alexia Westerfield.

          Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Derick Baker. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

   The family request memorial donations be sent to St. Jude or a charity of choice.
