ALMA ISHAM


Alma Isham, age 84, North College Street, Harrodsburg, widow of William J. Isham died Sunday, July 25, 2004 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center.


Born March 7, 1920 in Mercer County she was the daughter of the late Breckenridge “Brack” Collier and Zannah McGinnis Collier. She was a retired glass inspector for Corning Glass Works, Inc. and was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Willisburg.


Survivors include one son Wallace and his wife Mary Jane Isham, Hampton, Florida; two daughters, Billie and her husband Val McCord, Lancaster, and Annetta and her husband Chandler Durr, High Spring, Florida; one brother, Bev Collier, Mercer County; three sisters Elizabeth Scott, Michigan, Lee Ora Tyler, Harrodsburg, and Lillian Tyler, Burgin; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Violet Steele.


Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, July 28th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Val McCord. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Tuesday and after 7:30 am Wednesday at the chapel.
