Obituary of Eddie Sanford

Eddie Sanford, 66, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Teresa Hall Sanford, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at his home.  Born August 8, 1952, in Fayette Co., he was the son of the late Sarah (Jordan) Sanford. Eddie was a retired concrete contractor and co-owner of E & J Construction. He was a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church, was a KY Colonel, and was a member of the NRA.

 

Other survivors include: two daughters, Sarah (Adam) Curtsinger and Shirley Sanford, both of Harrodsburg; one son, Jim (Shauna) Sanford of Harrodsburg; one sister, Anne (Huston) Burkhead of Mt. Eden; Five Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Jonathan Jones, Jerry Browning, and Jonathan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Saturday and after 9:00 AM Sunday, at Ransdell's.

 

Pallbearers are:  Tony & Jess Devine, Joe & Gunnar Fister, John & Alan Burkhead, Kerry Meredith, and Michael Paul Huffman. Honorary bearers are: Zac & Cole Curtsinger, Jacob & Gabe Sanford, Jaycie Sanford, Jimmy & Chuck Cecil, Jimmy (Yogi) Yeager and Chris Hill.
