Obituary of John William Milton Jr.

John W. Milton, Jr., 96, Harrodsburg, husband of Gertrude Lowe Milton, died Friday, November 9, 2018, at his home.

 

Born October 13, 1922, in Washington Co., he was the son of the late J.W. and Lena (Coyle) Milton Sr.. He was a retired farmer, Army veteran of World War II, attended Campbellsville Junior College, and was a member of the Mackville Baptist Church.

 

Other survivors include: one daughter, Anne Lowe (Phillip Edward) Meader of Harrodsburg;  one sister, Inelle M. Mobley of Owensboro;  several nieces & nephews, including John L. Lowe of Versailles.

 

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Mon., Nov. 12, 2018, at the Mercer Church of Christ by William Dayton and Darrell Hahn. Burial will follow in Peter Cemetery, Mackville, KY.  Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday at the church,  and 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Monday.

 

Pallbearers are: Andrew Ballard, Doug Coyle, John Mobley, Joe Moore, Michael Gregory, and Leland Lowe.
