MARSHALL LEON HART Marshall Leon Hart, age 70, Perryville Road, Harrodsburg, husband of Imogene Worthington Hart, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born March 1, 1934 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Vergie Helen Atkinson Hart. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Parks and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his wife include: two sons, David and his wife Marlene Hart, Harrodsburg, and Jeffery and his wife Lisa Hart, Harrodsburg; one daughter Debbie and her husband Kenny Merriman, Harrodsburg; a daughter-in law, Diana Bottom Hart, Harrodsburg; one brother, Merle and his wife Charlotte Hart, Harrodsburg; one sister Geraldine and her husband Homer Calvert, Frankfort; nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Terry Brent Hart and a brother Ralph Hart. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, August 2nd at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert DeFoor and Daryl Catlett. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Lee Hart, Adam Hart, Shannon Stephens, Travis Stephens, Jeremy Stephens, Chris Hart, Matthew Hart, Aaron Bottoms, and Joshua Cheatham. Honorary bearers are: Irvin Worthington, Obie Worthington, Bobby Joe Worthington, Kenneth Coffman, Bob Langford, Homer Calvert, and Reuben Deringer. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 pm Sunday and after 7:30 am Monday at the chapel Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons Memorial Bible Fund, Post Office Box 176, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
