Obituary of Thomas Matthew Moore
Thomas Matthew "Tom" Moore, 66, Harrodsburg, husband of Patricia Ann Mayes Moore, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the Saint Joseph Hospital East, Lexington. Born October 2, 1952, in Chelsea, MA, he was the son of the late Frederic L and Geraldine A. (Neville) Moore. Tom was a retired self-employed Building Contractor, had served as President of the Mercer Co. Builders Association, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was the Volunteer Supervisor for the Young's Park Creative Playground.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Angie (Peter) Mitchell of FL and Margaret Weisenbach of Harrodsburg; four sisters, Debbie (Paul) Doucette of Lynn, MA, Wendy Budd of St. Petersburg, FL, Brenda Champigny of North Reading, MA, and Marylee (Norman) Dube of Lynn, MA; one brother, Neil Moore of Lynn, MA; four grandchildren, Lindsey Schuster, and Eli, Jocelyn, and Emma Weisenbach; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by a sister, Linda Duvall.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Mon., Dec. 17, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, Ransdell's.
