Obituary of Jerry Lee Royalty
Jerry Lee Royalty, 66, Louisville, KY, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the Baptist Health Lexington, KY. Born August 25, 1952, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late James and Lena Mae (Hulett) Royalty.
Jerry was a member of the Christian Church, former Harrodsburg City Commissioner, and was Member of the Harrodsburg Jaycees, where he had served as past VP and Treasurer. He was named Jaycee of the year in 1978 and awarded the Paul Correll Award twice. Jerry was a graduate of the Central Kentucky Vo-tech, having studied photography, and he was an avid UK sports fan.
Survivors include: one daughter, Amy Lee (William) Sparks of Richmond, KY; one sister, Mary Angus (Lonnie) Hatchel of Harrodsburg; and one brother, James (Kerry) Royalty, Jr. of Lexington; four grandchildren; special caregivers, Leona & Ed Berg; one nephew and one great nephew.
Funeral services 1:00 PM, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Steve Votaw, James Harley, and Nelson Reynolds. Visitation 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, Ransdell's.

G. Plummer, Bryce Hatchel, Richard Clay, Rita V. Atwell, and members of the USCW Local union #227.
