Obituary of Paul Meadows

PAUL MEADOWS Paul Meadows, age 76, Torrance, California, formerly of Harrodsburg and widower of Mayola Christine Lay Meadows, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Harbor City, California. Born January 5, 1928 in McAfee, KY, he was the son of the late Elisha and Emma Hayden Meadows. He was a retired self employed Electronic Instrumentation Technical Supervisor, an apartment manager for Pro Management Co. in Torrance, California, a U.S. Navy & Army veteran of the Korean War and attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Monte Meadows, Torrance, California and Kenneth Bradley Meadows, London, KY; one daughter, Linnie Christine Paz, Sevierville, Tennessee; two sisters Emma Pearson, of Tennessee and Melda Botts, of Ohio; two granddaughters, Sara Carver of Florida and Cari Henderson, Knoxville, Tennessee; and one great grandchild; Lane Henderson, Knoxville. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, August 3rd at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Raymond Costello. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday and from 7:30 am Tuesday until the hour of service at the chapel.
