Obituary of Clifton Day Prewitt

Clifton Day Prewitt, III, 69, Salvisa, husband of 51 years to Linda Ammon Prewitt, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington.

 

Born November 19, 1949, in Fayette Co., he was the son of the late Clifton Day Prewitt, Jr. and the late Patsy (Grigsby) Prewitt Day He was a retired Acoustical Contractor, had worked security at Keeneland Race Track part-time, and was a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church.

 

Other survivors include: one daughter, Amy Elizabeth Owens, Versailles; one son, Clifton D. (Season) Prewitt, IV, Harrodsburg;  one brother, Stephen Prewitt, Garrard Co.; four grandchildren, Kayla & Lincoln Owens, and Brinkley & Elle Prewitt.

 

Services will be 2 PM Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jonathan Jones. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be 12 PM until 2 PM, Monday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
