Mildred Dean Black, 99, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Hugh E. Black, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab, Harrodsburg. Born June 17, 1919, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Minnie Hopkins Hayes.
Survivors include: a son, Ricky Black of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth R., Eddie and Freddie Black; a sister, Blanche Hurst, and two brothers; John and Bert Hayes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 12 noon till 2 PM Friday, March 22, 2019, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Private burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
