    Brenda A. Bentley, 77, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Lawrence Bentley, (57 years), died Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.  Born June 03, 1941, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Virgie (Frasure) Ratliff. She was retired from KY Dept. of Human Resources, a KY Colonel, and a member of the Red Hat Society.

     Other survivors include: two daughters: Kim (Pete) DeGiovanni, and Melissa (Joey Toadvine) Webb of Harrodsburg, KY,;  one sister: Orpha Sue (JacK) Samons of Langley, KY; she also has seven grandchildren: Lyssa DeGiovanni, Joseph DeGiovanni, Michael DeGiovanni, Kyle Webb, Danielle Toadvine, Tony (Hollie) Burns, Jeanette Burns; nine great- grandchidren: Baeleigh DeGiovanni Wolfe, Atticus DeGiovanni Wolfe, Kassius DeGiovanni Wolfe, Braysen Smith DeGiovanni, Paisleigh Toadvine, Berkley Rose Webb, Christopher Burns, Makayla Burns, Alexander Reed Burns; several Nieces and Nephews; special friends:  Judith Leasure, Sharon Burchett, Georgia Hyden. She is predeceased by a brother, Adron (Delorse) Ratliff.

     Gathering of family and friends will be 11-1 Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY, with memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm.

     Memorials are suggested to: Heritage Hospice, American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
