Obituary of Brenda J. Goodlett
Brenda J. Goodlett, 75, Lancaster, KY, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Born November 17,1943, in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Lane Goodlett. She retired from Administrative Support for Cabinet For Family Health Services and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She had also worked for Mercer Senior Citizens and was Mercer Co. Ombudsman for the KY Dept. of Aging.
Brenda is survived by: one daughter, Tammy (Alan) Napier of Garrard Co.; one son, Joey Dale Barker of Garrard Co.; one sister, Rachel Goodlett of Harrodsburg; one brother, David Goodlett of Harrodsburg; daughter-in-law, April J. Barker; half sister, Opal Peyton of Harrodsburg; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Poynter Phillips, Hagan Chase Poynter and Colton Allen Barker; great grandchildren, Kasen Clay Phillips and Ryan Krew Phillips. Brenda was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold, Frank and Donnie Goodlett; half brothers, James, Kenneth and Paul Goodlett, and Bill, Kenneth, and James "Frog" Raley; half sister, Alma Goodlett.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, Apr. 28, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and Brad King. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Sunday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
