Obituary of Donald Wayne Royalty
Donald Wayne Royalty, 78, Harrodsburg, husband of Brenda Joyce Dean Royalty, died Friday, May 3, 2019, at home. Born May 23, 1940, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Elmer Elwood and Mary Will (Brown) Royalty. He was a retired Overnight Transportation Truck Driver, was a member of the longest standing member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, and was a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge 125 F&AM.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Cynthia (Rob) Taylor of Cincinnati, OH and Kimberly (Mark) Samuelson of Lexington, KY; two sons: Timothy Dean (Tamara) Royalty of Ashland, KY and Richard Wayne (Mischelle) Royalty of Harrodsburg; eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Clifford Royalty and Brenda Stiglich.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Monday, May 6, 2019, at the Hopewell Baptist Church by Doug Wesley and Rick & Tim Royalty. Burial will follow in Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Sunday, Hopewell Baptist.
Pallbearers: Andrew Dean Royalty, Jon & Jake Royalty, Zach & Harry Taylor, Daniel Royalty, Cooper & William Samuelson, Samantha & Jessica Royalty and Jackson Taylor.
