Obituary of Ethel Gayle Yocum
Ethel Gayle Yocum, 68, Harrodsburg, KY, died Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home. Born October 20, 1950, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Fred N. and Lula Mae (McGinnis) Bugg. She was a Receiver at Lowes Home Improvement Center and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three daughters, Cindy Gayle (Bo) Goodlett, Laura Denise Southerland, and Chastity Brooke Robinson, all of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Frieda (Bill) Carpenter of Springfield, TN, Gloria Jean Bugg of Harrodsburg and Joyce Ann Devine of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Wayne (Sharon) Bugg of Bloomfield, and Jeff (Mary Jane) Bugg of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Jenkins, Jessica Rae Southerland, Matthew Clyde Sims, and Russell Scott Sims; three great grandchildren, Makayla Mae Southerland, Foster Thomas Sims, and Merritt Leeann Sims. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Bugg Jr. and Denzil Barnes.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 - 8 PM, Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Lions Club Community Center, Factory St., Harrodsburg, KY.
