MARGARET CHILTON Margaret Chilton, age 90, East Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, widow of Kellis Chilton, died Friday, August 20, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility. Born March 10, 1914 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. and Willie A. Coslow Dean. She was a former employee at Graves Jewelers and at the Ft. Harrod Museum. She was also a member of the Harrodsburg Chapter # 309 Order of Eastern Star where she was a Past Matron, Past President of the Harrodsburg Women’s Club, Past President of the Christian Women’s Fellowship, and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church where she was a member of the Bethany Sunday School Class and served as Deacon. Survivors include: one son Holly and his wife Ann Chilton, Harrodsburg; a grandson, Howard Chilton, Harrodsburg; a granddaughter, Janet and her husband Shane Carey, Harrodsburg and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, August 23rd at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Don Chase. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Joe Blankenship, Garry Lance, George Neal, Jr., Danny Chilton, Charles Bolling, Jr., and James Hogue. Honorary bearers are members of the Bethany Sunday School Class. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Sunday and after 7:30 am Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Eastern Star Services will be conducted 7:30 pm Sunday evening at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Harrodsburg Christian Church, 305 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
